PhD positions available
The new call for PhD positions at the Polytechnic University of Bari is available online (for those who already have a master’s degree or will graduate by 31/10/2023). There are several opportunities available (Deadline July 17, 2023)
- PhD in bioengineering in collaboration with the Biosciences Department of the University of Bari. The goal is to design and manufacture adhesive surfaces in order to improve cell adhesion to repair tissues, make prostheses and/or cellular scaffolds.
- PhD in mechanical engineering with an experimental focus for the design, manufacturing and testing of micro-structured adhesive surfaces in presence of dynamic excitation of variable frequency and amplitude. The goal is to develop reversible interfaces that can “stick/peel” on request.
- Industrial doctorate in collaboration with Daken Spa, a leading company in the production of plastic and steel products for the truck and trailer market, an excellence in the local landscape. The goal is the development of digital models to assist in the design and optimization of products.
- Industrial doctorate in collaboration with Pirelli Spa, a world leading company in the design, production and distribution of high performance tyres. This is a position in collaboration with University of Trento and aims at studying tyre friction and wear.
