CMIS 2024

We have partecipated in the Contact Mechanics International Symposium 2024 in Lyon. Dr. Ali Maghami presented a poster on finite size effects in viscoelastic adhesive contacts, Prof. Michele Ciavarella presented a model for adhesive friction in a cylinder rolling over a soft substrate. Prof. Antonio Papangelo gave an invited keynote lecture on the possibility of regulating adhesive forces through mechanical micro-vibrations. It always a pleasure to participate in the CMIS conference and meet esteemed colleagues working in the field of contact mechanics!
